I am purebred and up to date with shots.
James Madison's Story...
James is big boy with a heart to match. Purebred Malamute male, about 2 years old, he is up to date with his shots and appears to be fit and in good health.
James came to us a a stray so we don't have a lot of back ground but working with him is a joy. He is very gentle and loves to go for walks, with his luxurious coat he doesn't mind the cold one bit. He doesn't know many commands but is attentive and should be a quick study. He enjoys his food, likes treats, and some toys. James appears house trained and does well in his kennel. He is easy on lead and takes full body handling in stride. Not a bit shy he is very loving with all the volunteers. He is curious about other dogs but has shown no aggression.
We think James would do well in an active household and would thrive on exercise and attention. If you are interested we encourage you to stop by the shelter and meet this great guy...now taking applications. If he isn't claimed James will be ready for adoption February 10th after 6pm. He will require a neuter before going to his forever home but with that arranged and he could join your household before Valentine's Day. If you want to apply for this dog click here.
You can then email the application to the Meridian Animal Shelter.
Applications are now being accepted, and a visitation with the dog is encouraged.
All applications will be considered and the adoption coordinator will call the person chosen to adopt the dog after the available date.
