Lacey's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Lacey's Story...
Meet Lacey. I came to the shelter in December 2010 with my sister Lila. We've
been treated real well here. We're both pretty young (approx 2 yrs)and still learning the
ropes, but are making progress. We really like being around people and
would be great family pets with a little training.

Adoption donation is $125 which includes her spay, microchipping, deworming, heartworm test, and shots. Please call or e-mail the PALS contact information located below to find out more about making this sweetheart a part of your family!

Please be patient with us - we're taking care of a lot of furkids - our own and the PALS kids - and we are all volunteers with families, homes and full time jobs. We'll return email and phone inquiries just as fast as we pawssibly can. Thanks!

ADOPTION DONATIONS: Adoption donations for PALS animals go directly either to medical care for those or other furkids in need, or towards maintenance and improvement of our shelter!

ADOPTIONS: We don't let the fact that you might live out of state stop any adoption that's meant to be, but you MUST be willing to drive, or fly, all the way to pick up your new family member.

It's so easy to donate to PALS and help the homeless furkids...and it's tax-deductible! Simply PayPal to palsiowa@pcpartner.net or mail your check to PALS, PO Box 123, Grinnell, IA 50112. THANK YOU!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lacey, a Grinnell Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Grinnell, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Grinnell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grinnell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grinnell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grinnell paves the way for another one to be saved.
