Morgan is a wonderful and sweet American Eskimo who is about 2½ years old and weighs about 20 lbs. He is very friendly with the other dogs in his foster home and has had a few days at Camp Bow Wow (and they loved him there!). They said there were 2 dogs who would not play with the other dogs but within a short time, Morgan was rolling around playing with them. What a great story! Such is Morgan. He does have a medium energy level so will need another dog to play with as well as a fenced in yard. Morgan loves to put his head in the crook of his foster mom's neck and snuggle… He is current on all his vaccinations and is heartworm negative. He is also crate trained and housetrained. Come and meet this great foster of ours!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Morgan, a Overland Park American Eskimo Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Eskimo Dog for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a American Eskimo Dog dog from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Eskimo Dog breeders who help with American Eskimo Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
