Elvis's Story...
Elvis is an oh so charming Lab-Shep Mix who is doing splendidly with his foster mom going on runs and walks, lazing in the yard, and being carefree and happy now that he's out of the shelter. Found as a stray, Elvis was microchipped, but his owners never responded to shelter calls or mail. This great dog, who is about 4 to 5 years old, is doing well with other big dogs and with people of all ages. Friendly and fun, Elvis is your perfect dog for sunny California and for any size household. Elvis is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations.

Application, home visit, contract, and adoption fee of $250. required for adoption. Elvis is in Southern California and cannot be taken out of state.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Elvis, a Arcadia Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Arcadia, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Arcadia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Arcadia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Arcadia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Arcadia paves the way for another one to be saved.
