CHELSEA's Story...
CHELSEA 5 YR OLD FEMALE DOXIE CHIHUAHUA- 5 LBS.

They don't come any sweeter than Chelsea. She is gentle, loving, funny and super affectionate. Chelsea will make a great companion to someone who is home a lot or a companion for another small dog whose mom/dad works a lot. Chelsea has a very unique color (orange/brown) she is not a barker, she is fully housebroken and simply adorable.
Chelsea has an old eye injury, but she is not in any kind of pain and acts just like a normal and happy dog. At this point there is nothing that the vet can do. Chelsea is waiting for her forever home...

Why Adoption is a Great Option

CHELSEA, a Long Beach Dachshund/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Chihuahua for sale in Long Beach, or seeking a Dachshund/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Long Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Long Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Long Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Chihuahua breeders who help with Dachshund/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Long Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
