Elvis's Story...
Elvis is a Border Collie mix about 2 years old and weighs about 43 lbs. He is a happy go lucky, fun loving guy! This fellow loves everybody and just wants to play. He would love to be by your side all the time, so he would make a great full time companion. He prefers to be outdoors (like most Border Collies) during the day and by your side at night. He would like to have other dogs as playmates too. He is neutered and up to date on his shots.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Elvis, a Cleveland Border Collie/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever for sale in Cleveland, or seeking a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Cleveland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cleveland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cleveland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Border Collie/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cleveland paves the way for another one to be saved.
