My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Trooper! A 1 year old male, Yellow Lab / cross who was found aimlessly wandering and looking for food on Dec 31, 2011. He has since been placed in foster care and socialized with his foster family's four other dogs (2 Poodles, a Bichon Frise, another Yellow Lab) and two cats. He is very gentle when interacting with other animals and humans. He takes 'treats' very carefully, walks nicely on leash and sleeps well in a dog crate at night. Trooper has never had an accident inside the house either. When traveling in a vehicle, Trooper falls asleep in his crate. Full 'Grooming' (brushing, nail clipping, bathing and blow-drying) does not bother Trooper. He takes it all in stride! He has never growled nor shown any aggression towards us. Trooper just seems to want to please and is presently working on his 'Basic Obedience'! He is also learning to be less anxious when left on his own. Trooper is a big friendly fellow, deserving of a stable and loving home. Apply today to meet this handsome boy!
