Sasha's Story...
Sasha is a total diva! She's got gorgeous long hair and large, expressive eyes. She enjoys all people and will gladly hop on your lap for some petting time. She prefers to be either an only cat, or not have too many other cats in the household. While she's never had bad potty habits related to this, she will try to be the dominant cat of the house. She seems okay with dogs, pays them no mind at all, in fact. She'd be a great cat for a quieter household with either no kids or older kids (or maybe the occasional grandkids) since she loves the attention of her people. (Put good with kids, dogs, and cats, because she's not BAD with any of them, just wants to be a diva!)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sasha, a Hurst Maine Coon cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Hurst, or seeking a Maine Coon cat from a breeder in Hurst.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hurst already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hurst breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hurst paves the way for another one to be saved.
