Oliver's Story...
Oliver is a 9 month old male Cocker Spaniel whose family had no time for him. He lived outside previously, and is thrilled to warm and inside the home at night. He is working on his housebreaking and coming along nicely. Oliver enjoys his canine friends in foster care, and especially loves to romp and play. He is quite a good ball player, and will bring it back for another toss. A snuggly and affectionate fellow, he will dote on his new family. He has a long, natural (undocked) tail that he holds proudly! Oliver has an appointment for neuter surgery May 1st and may then go to his new home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oliver, a Nuevo Cocker Spaniel puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Nuevo, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel puppy from a breeder in Nuevo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nuevo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nuevo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nuevo paves the way for another one to be saved.
