Cassy's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Cassy's Story...
Cassy is a ten pound spayed female white poodle born November 1999. She is housetrained, up to date on vaccinations and deworming, and takes monthly heartworm prevention. Although Cassy is crate trained, she loves to snuggle in the bed with her foster mom. She is always eager to ride in the car and play with toys. Cassy's foster mom says she is the perfect lap pet. Unfortunately, she lost her loving home when her 84 year old owner could no longer care for her and had to give her up. A healthy small dog who adores people and has wonderful house manners, Cassy hopes another caring family will open their arms to her. Please contact the foster caregiver directly at du.burns@earthlink.net for more information and an application. She is not a Petsaver-NC dog, but is posted online at www.petsavernc.org as a courtesy to the foster mom.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cassy, a Chapel Hill Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Chapel Hill, or seeking a Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Chapel Hill.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chapel Hill already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chapel Hill breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chapel Hill paves the way for another one to be saved.
