found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.
Ernie loves to be with his people, is very affectionate and loves to have his belly rubbed. He enjoys his walks and does well with other dogs. He is respectful of cats - though, true to his breed, he may chase running cats.
He is food-motivated which is helpful for training - but human leftovers or garbage will need to be closely monitored. He has no food/treats or toy aggressions. He barks appropriate to alterting but not excessively. He is easily groomed in the tub and likes to be trimmed in the summer.
Ernie is very active and would love car trips to the beach, to the dog park, to agility or anywhere you would like to take him.
He has little-to-no experience with younger children and because of his exuberance for life will likely do best with older children.
All of our animal companions are in foster homes, so visits are arranged with the foster family. To set up a time to meet one of our animal companions, we must first have a completed application on file.
