_______________________________________________________________________________

Chiquis is a very sweet wild boar with black undertones smooth dachshund. Chiquis is a sweet and loving little girl. She has expressive and loving eyes and has the most beautiful and unusual coloring we have seen in a while.

She is a doll and is very playful but also loves laps! She is spayed and is up to date on all of her shots!

She would be a great dog in any home. She likes to play with her adopted brothers and sisters and would do well with another dog.

She is also okay by herself but if she does not have another dog as a brother/sister/playmate, she would like to have a person and/or family who has dachshund experience (children above the age of 12) who will play with her and pay ALOT of attention to her.

She is housebroken, spayed and up to date on all of her vaccines.

Most dogs especially older ones are housetrained, like these little guys are, they can use a doggy door. However, it should be reminded that there will be few accidents in the beginning as all of the dogs are nervous and uncomfortable in new surroundings, until they get accustom to their new home. With proper discipline from the beginning, and corrective techniques, this behavior should stop within a few weeks.

Tax deductible adoption fees for Chiquis are to be announced.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chiquis, a Garden Grove Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Garden Grove, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Garden Grove.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Garden Grove already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Garden Grove breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Garden Grove paves the way for another one to be saved.
