_______________________________________________________________________________

Tiger is a drop dead gorgeous red dapple boy, who at the tender age of 13 months old is the father of Chauncy and Corky. Tiger is a mellow and loving little guy. He was a owner/breeder turn over along with his two sons below.

He is a amazing little guy and is very playful but also loves laps and naps! He is neutered and is up to date on all of his shots!

He would be a great dog in any home. He likes to play with his adopted brothers and sisters and would do well with another dog or by himself.
He is also okay by himself but if he does not have another dog as a brother/sister/playmate, he would need to have a person and/or family who has dachshund experience (children above the age of 10) who will play with him and pay ALOT of attention to him.

He is housebroken, neutered and up to date on all of his vaccines.
Most dogs especially older ones are housetrained, like these little guys are, they can use a doggy door. However, it should be reminded that there will be few accidents in the beginning as all of the dogs are nervous and uncomfortable in new surroundings, until they get accustom to their new home. With proper discipline from the beginning, and corrective techniques, this behavior should stop within a few weeks.

Tax deductible adoption fees for Tiger are to be announced.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tiger, a Garden Grove Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Garden Grove, or seeking a Dachshund puppy from a breeder in Garden Grove.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Garden Grove already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Garden Grove breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Garden Grove paves the way for another one to be saved.
