My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Valentine was relinquished to our rescue because the family is expecting a baby and didn't want a dog in the house. What an adorable little girl! She has the body of a dachshund and the coat of a poodle. Her coloring is similar to "dapple" in doxies. She weighs 10 pounds and is a year old.

She is crate trained, good with children and we expect will be fine with cats. She hasn't been introduced to a cat, but her temperament isn't aggressive in that way.

Valentine is spayed, UTD on shots, HW negative and on flea/HW preventative. She is also microchipped.


Valentine will be transported to the NE via Alpha Dog Transport (she is in foster care in E TN). They charge $125 for their services. They will also hand off all vet records at that time.


We reserve the right to not adopt to families with children under the age of 8 and apartment renters.
