Curly's Story...
This is Mo and Curly, and, yes, there was a Larry, but his foster mommy is keeping him. Mo and Curly are the cutest of the cutest 4 month old puppies. They were found as strays (in otherwords, we believe that they were dumped) but boy did they find the right home. Their foster mommy came across them, scooped them up and took them home. They are being well cared for and getting good boy lessons from their older labby brothers. They are almost house trained, crate trained, and are doing very well in the home. They are okay with cats and have been socialized with many other doggies. Mo is a bit more labby looking and Curly looks to have a bit of hound due to his longer ears, but both are darling and wonderful little puppies. Both Mo and Curly are neutered, up to date on all vaccintaions and are heartworm negative. They are microchipped and kept on frontline and heartgard. If you would like to make one of these perfect boys part of your family, please fill out an online application and request them on the notes section.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Curly, a Lewisville Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Lewisville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Lewisville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lewisville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lewisville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lewisville paves the way for another one to be saved.
