Gypsie's Story...
FEATURED:
Gypsie - DOB: 04/09/2011....60 lbs....Gypsie is a beautiful & fun loving dog/puppy......she was found by us November 18, 2011 running off Morris Bridge Rd....she ran around for 45mins before we could get her caught....she is a hound mix of some kind....the vet thinks bloodhound or black/tan coonhound..(NO PIT)....no one came forward & she was not chipped....we since had her spayed, shots, chipped....she is a great indoor dog & relaxes with our 2 German Shepherds....she can hold her own though when they play....she is that typical little sister right now.....our youngest is 3yrs old so she likes to start alot of play time....she does well with her toys & can still find things to chew that she shouldn't (mainly cat toys & pencils).....We have loved having her but know that we are not the kind of family that she needs....she has alot of energy & strength....we have been giving her training so that she is a good girl for a new owner but I would strongly suggest continuing & being someone that knows this breed very well.....she would be a great hunting dog with training.....we have alot of time & love invested in her & want what is best....she is a great watch dog (no aggression) just barks when needs to & has been learning the command quiet when we want her to stop....let us know if you are interested & tell us about yourself & your experience....thank you....

She is spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative & on monthly preventatives, flea free & on monthly preventatives, potty / house trained, crate trained, annual shots (Distemper, Adenovirus, Para influenza, Parvo, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, and Bordetella)....recently was giving a professional bath & nails dremeled/filed....

A fenced in yard is preferred & she would love it......she is not to be chained up outside....she is a social & family dog.....

Adoption fee applies.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gypsie, a Zephyrhills Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Zephyrhills, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Zephyrhills.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Zephyrhills already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Zephyrhills breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Zephyrhills paves the way for another one to be saved.
