Bandit's Story...
Bandit was rescued from the Lancaster Animal Shelter a few weeks ago. He was in danger of being put to sleep and so darn cute we had to rescue him. The shelter projected Bandit being approximately 5 years old. Our vet seems to think 4-5 is about right. Bandit is fully potty trained , fully vetted, micro chipped , neutered, current on his vaccines and full of personality. He walks well on a leash and struts with the up most pride. Bandit does very well with other dogs his own size. He's so adorable! If your looking to add a furry family member or may know of someone that may please contact us to schedule a visit with this little guy..

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bandit, a Rancho Mirage Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Rancho Mirage, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Rancho Mirage.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rancho Mirage already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rancho Mirage breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rancho Mirage paves the way for another one to be saved.
