Emma's Info...

Emma's Story...
Emma, formerly Bamby from Philadelphia ACCT, is a sweet 2-3 year old female pit bull. Emma found herself wandering the busy streets of Philadelphia all alone after having a littler of puppies. Emma's babies were not located but Emma went to ACCT to get off of the streets where she was able to meet some staff and volunteers to help get to know her a bit better. Emma was very skinny at only 36 lbs, something we will be working on while she is in her foster home with our rescue. Emma is a very sweet and pretty girl that does well with people of all ages, other dogs and showed no interest in cats! Emma is up to date on shots, spayed, microchipped, house and crate trained and just waiting for the right family to find her and love her forever! for more info on Emma please email nepabullies@gmail.com. Adoption application, reference check, home visit required, $200 adoption fee and signed adoption contract required upon adoption approval.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Emma, a Hillsborough American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Hillsborough, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Hillsborough.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hillsborough already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hillsborough breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hillsborough paves the way for another one to be saved.
