My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tica is a wonderful little Pomeranian. She is eight years old. So she is a senior that is looking for a very gentle person that will give her a loving home. She is looking for a forever home with a family without children. She is very sweet, but very sensitive. The family that owned her as a puppy was quite rough, it seems. She has a cute way of teaching you how to pick her up. She spins around and backs into your hand. She also will find and out of the way place in your house to nap so that she is not bumped or stepped on. She loves to go outside at every opportunity and run around, and waits to be called back in. She is potty trained. When she learns where she will go outside, she will sit by the door to signal her need. She must have a home with a securely fenced yard as she will find little places to explore and hide while she is outside. She is terrified of loud noises such as the vacuum or any equally loud noise. She will sit inside at the door and pant ready to head outside if there is a loud noise, thus the need for a secure yard. Once the confusion passes she will settle down. She needs an understanding person to be her protector. She gets along well with other small dogs and cats, although she does not like to share her food with other animals. She will be your little shadow and wait for you at every turn. She will love snuggling on the end of your bed at night and be your little friend with much love and affection for the rest of her life.

You can see her playing here with her dog buddy Toby.
