I am already spayed and purebred.
*Hazel & Thisbe - PENDING's Story...
Hazel & Thisbe are littermates and the best of friends! We could split them up, but why would we? Hazel & Thisbe are purebred Dachshund puppies dumped by a heartless breeder who didn't want them anymore. The breeder also seems to have kept them very sheltered while they were at her house, because the girls treated everything as if encountering it for the first time. They have come a long way!! Hazel (more merle-coated) & Thisbe (darker-coated) are about 5 months old, healthy and spayed. Here's what their foster mom has said about these sweet puppies:
"As far as socialization goes, they've made great strides. They are still very aware of any changes or new things/people, but they get brave and check it out much faster now. They love running around playing with each other and their toys all the time! They are very entertaining to watch! They play chase, tug of war and wrestle with each other and with our other dogs. When they get tired, they love nothing more than a warm lap to sleep on. They are very good in the crate at night, only whining when they have to go out. They will bark if anyone comes in the room - great watch pups!
As for their personalities, they are both super sweet and friendly and very playful. Thisbe loves attention - - she's just more interested in being with her people. Hazel is more likely to go off and check things out by herself, and is content to curl up on the couch by herself, where Thisbe will want to be on someone's lap and, if that's not an option, she'll curl up with her sister. She doesn't like to do anything alone."
