Daisy's Story...
This is what Daisy's owner had to say. we had to turn Daisy over to the animal shelter because she loves our chickens way too much, NO CHICKENS FOR DAISY. Daisy is around 8 years old. is Large in size, walks on a leash, sits when asked, is house trained, enjoys rides in the car, she is very sweet & playful, obedient & well mannered, Loves to play, alert, smart and is a super special young lady who got along with our children, cats & dogs while in our care. We feel Daisy may make a very loving playful family member and great outdoors fun companion as long as you don't own chickens. Daisy will need a fenced yard to play in.

Act quickly to adopt Daisy. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daisy, a Grass Valley German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Grass Valley, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Grass Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grass Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grass Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grass Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
