Spice Girl's Story...
Spice Girl is a wonderful little 3-4 year old girl weighing a chunky 10 pounds. She is very loving and she gets very attached to her human companions. She is looking for a home where she can have lots of snuggle time and attention. She gets along with other dogs but she prefers to stick by her human. She is very sweet and totally lovable! She has quite an underbite and her bottom teeth stick out making her almost irresistible!! She looks like a miniature Golden Retriever and she has the softest hair! She is for the most part-potty trained.

Fence/enclosed patio required for most dogs. We check your vet reference and fence. Dogs are current on vaccinations, HW negative, micro chipped, dental if needed and spayed/neutered. Email lldogrescue@yahoo.com for quickest response.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Spice Girl, a Shawnee Mission Chihuahua/Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Shih Tzu for sale in Shawnee Mission, or seeking a Chihuahua/Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Shawnee Mission.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Shawnee Mission already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Shawnee Mission breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Shih Tzu breeders who help with Chihuahua/Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Shawnee Mission paves the way for another one to be saved.
