Rumba's Story...
location: Seminole, OK
Rumba was born on November 6, 2011. Her mama (Minuet, about 3-4 years old, 12 pounds) was a stray in Texas. Rumba currently weighs just over 5 pounds. Rumba is learning to potty outside (she's also paper-trained), and she is sleeping and eating in a crate - and doing pretty well. She is a little shy and submissive, but loves her fosterDaddy a bunch. To see more pix of Rumba please click here

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rumba, a Oklahoma City Rat Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier for sale in Oklahoma City, or seeking a Rat Terrier puppy from a breeder in Oklahoma City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oklahoma City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oklahoma City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oklahoma City paves the way for another one to be saved.
