Wally's Info...

Wally's Story...
He's darling, very affectionate and sweet Cairn Terrier mix, he has a little white heart on his forehead! He LOVES kids, loves to play ball. Walks FABULOUS on a leash, is up to date on his shots, neutered, micro chipped. He gets along other dogs, but is a little nervous at first with them.

He is potty trained and is pretty independent, although he wouldn't do well to be left for long periods of time alone ( more than 3-4 hours at a time on a regular basis). He weighs about 20 pounds, and is a bit overweight right now, but walking it off! Perfect companion for long walks and snuggles. GREAT little guy :) cute as a button.

He would love to trot down the street on a leash you were holding. He loves to chase a ball. Did we mention HE LOVES TO WALK ON A LEASH! He was rescued on his last day from a high kill shelter in San Bernardino and brought to San Diego to find a wonderful home.

Thank you for considering adopting a rescue dog!

We are Lucky Pup Dog Rescue, a 501c3 non profit dog rescue in San Diego, California. We are a small rescue staffed by all volunteers.
Our adoption process does require an application, a home visit and a min tax deductible donation to our rescue of $200.Your donation helps to cover Wally's rescue costs (spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchip, worming, flea treatments and any other medical needs). AND...your donation not only helps cover Wally, but it also helps us to rescue another dog from the shelter in his place.

Our APPLICATION is located on our website http://www.LuckyPupDogRescue.com.

Once we have your application, we can set a time to meet WALLY. Many of our dogs are in foster homes around the community, so we would need to set an appointment.
Wally is staying in North Park right now and would love to find a place to hang his hat and call home forever.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wally, a san diego Cairn Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cairn Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in san diego, or seeking a Cairn Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in san diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in san diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a san diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cairn Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Cairn Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in san diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
