Duke's Info...

I am already neutered, purebred, a special needs pet, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Duke's Story...
Duke is a 10 week old male Saint Bernard puppy who is deaf and completely blind in his left eye. He is also partially blind in his right eye. He is a very sweet boy who loves to cuddle and has short bursts of puppy energy where he likes to play, but takes power naps like a champ in between! He loves to eat and will clean a bowl out faster than you can imagine!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Duke, a Bellflower St. Bernard puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a St. Bernard for sale in Bellflower, or seeking a St. Bernard puppy from a breeder in Bellflower.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellflower already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellflower breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even St. Bernard breeders who help with St. Bernard rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellflower paves the way for another one to be saved.
