Gretchen's Story...
Sweet Gretchen was dumped out of a car at the local Subway shortly after Christmas. for 2 days she sat outside the sandwich shop and waited for someone, anyone to save her. Gretchen got her wish when our director saw her sitting there & took her home. Gretchen is a little under 1 year old is now and loves the other dogs and kitties that she's fostered with. She loves to play frisbee and catch and is completely house trained. She has a wonderful temperament and is an exceptionally sweet girl. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gretchen, a Christiana German Shepherd Dog/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Christiana, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Christiana.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Christiana already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Christiana breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Christiana paves the way for another one to be saved.
