Gentle Kismet & Cosmo!'s Story...
Two fabulous cats! This is Kismet, with the black patch over his eye. Some of his favorite hobbies include plopping right down in your lap and snuggling close, grooming his brother (and his people!), following his brother Cosmo around and keeping everyone company while they watch TV. Kismet also loves the toilet bowl! When he's not watching it flush, he'll dip his paws into the water and stir it around, gazing deeply into his reflection while marveling at all its splendor. While he doesn't seem to purr, when being petted he softly murmurs his contentment. Initially, he can be very shy but he warms up quickly - when he feels secure in his surroundings he shows his inquisitive, affectionate and playful side. Here's a video of him at play: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PKOcOXPRxE4&list=UUN9SlY0LUPZ2pXAohpmMWKA&index=1&feature=plcp

Cosmo, Kismet's brother, also listed separately, is very outgoing and social. He is not afraid of new places or people! Even though he is partially blind in one eye, his play skills are definitely still intact! He loves to chase strings, balls, and toy mice and to hop into cardboard boxes. Cosmo likes to jump up right next to the sink and watch while dishes are being washed. He has an abundance of energy and is always willing to play. He loves to give and receive attention, and isn't shy about enjoying it. He'll purr, flop around on his back and stretch out his paws inviting you to pet him.

They are a wonderful pair of cats who love each other immensely. As they are very close, they should be adopted together. Their personalities complement each other and they are so much fun to be around! They love to sit in the sun and groom each other and they also love to chase toys around and play wrestle. When provided with a scratching post, they do not scratch furniture. They would adapt nicely to a home with children and possibly other pets.

Cosmo and Kismet we were once street kitties – they were found in a terrible situation, living with way too many other cats. But that life is long gone, and boy are they glad, cause they were made to be contented housekitties! These guys are about 14 mos, neutered, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, and are up to date on their shots. They’re all ready to go home with you!

If you’d like to meet these gorgeous young men, please contact Sheri at BAAadoptions@gmail.com.

Thanks so much for thinking of a rescued kitty! Adoption fee goes to help us rescue the next purrfect kitties!
