Little Miss Peanut's Story...
Little Miss Peanut is little miss personality! She may be tiny, but don't let her size fool you:)

This adorable 8 week old Min Pin/Chi pup was a medical rescue only at the OC shelter due to a broken leg. Thankfully after seeing a specialist, surgery was not necessary since they did not know when the break happened. Doing surgery could cause more harm and she was already healing on her own. Puppies are able to heal much more rapidly than an adult dog. She will go back in a few weeks for a follow up x-ray, but the Dr. thinks that she will heal just fine:)

Little Miss Peanut is currently residing at 1 of our wonderful fosters who happen to be fostering a mom and her pups. Peanut is fitting in nicely with the little family and you would never know that she recently had an injury.

If you would like to make her a part of your family, please email adopt@thearkanimalrescue.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Little Miss Peanut, a Mission Viejo Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua for sale in Mission Viejo, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Mission Viejo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mission Viejo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mission Viejo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mission Viejo paves the way for another one to be saved.
