TomTom's Story...
Hi, I am Tom Tom! I am new here at the rescue as of February 2012. I am a happy smiling 2-year-old boy who will be a nice size when I fill out. The rescue says I have beautiful spots and a pretty face! I did test lightly heartworm positive; I'll require treatment before I can be adopted out, which might take a few months. Through it all I'm still smiling - will you be the one to put a FOREVER smile on my face?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

TomTom, a Newcastle Dalmatian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dalmatian for sale in Newcastle, or seeking a Dalmatian dog from a breeder in Newcastle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newcastle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newcastle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dalmatian breeders who help with Dalmatian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newcastle paves the way for another one to be saved.
