My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Little Miss Cheese Puff, or Puffy, as I call her, came to us from a commercial breeding facility. She was born on July 23, 2002 so will be 10 years old this summer. You'd never know it though. Puffy is a little bitty girl at only 10 pounds. She's lovely ~ much prettier than in this picture. Her vet screening showed her to be very healthy. Puffy is quite timid. She needs time to warm up and will probably benefit from being in a home with another dog to show her the ropes. She watches people. It's as if she really wants to trust and thinks that it might be ok, but she's not quite sure. She's made good progress in the short time that we've had her but I know that she'll settle into her own home and do well. Don't be put off by her age. A small breed dog can easily live well into their teens. I once adopted a 12 year old dog, had him for 3 more years and I wouldn't trade that time for anything. My boy was in bad physical shape when I got him - Puffy is quite healthy. Cheese Puff is spayed, up to date on all shots, heartworm negative, on heartworm/flea preventative, is microchipped and has had a dental cleaning. Her adoption fee is $200.
