My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Do you have a bean bag chair? Plenty of dog toys? Oh, and if you can do yoga with him, that would be a plus. Noah doesn't have many requirements but he has a list of "favorite things" that is longer than Oprah's! We've puzzled over his breed since the day he was rescued from a local shelter. He acts like a lab, has the chest of a beagle, and we see a little Australian Shepherd in there too. We welcome your suggestions -- give us your best guess :). He's a sturdy dog, mature and extremely easy to live with. He's 100% house trained and will stand at the door when he needs to go out. He enjoys children and is being fostered in an active, young household with two small children, a similar size companion dog, a big kitten and a TINY kitten (check out the video). We feel he would be equally happy with a mature family who can walk him regularly. Although he acts like a pup, he enjoys his afternoon naps as much as anyone! He adores his caretakers and meets everybody with a smile. We'd like to tell you more about his story -- Noah is what rescue is all about for the Friends of Retrievers volunteers. He has touched our heart from the minute we saw him in the shelter. He was a "Shelter Director's Favorite" and we were asked SPECIFICALLY to place him in foster care. He's that special. To see more video, photos, and talk with his foster mom - please email INFO@FORrescue.net. Noah is fostered in Huntsville, AL
