My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sabin is an 8yo black tri male, who is neutered, fully vetted and on heartworm preventative. Sabin was adopted from ARPH when he was 6 months old and returned to ARPH recently because his owner died and family members wished to find him a good home.

He is a very overweight boy, weighing in at 80 pounds. We have him on a very strict weight loss/exercise program to lose at least 20 pounds. He is a very sweet boy who loves his people wanting nothing more than to be right by your side with his head in your lap. He loves his daily walks and after very little time working with him, he learned to heel and walk on a loose leash. He knows to sit for his food or treat and he is house trained. He likes to ride in the car just sitting up and looking at the world go by. Sabin is still being evaluated regarding temperament with other dogs so check back for updates. With the changes in his life, he has been a little growly with some of the male dogs in his new foster home. He may need to be an only dog.

Sabin is a very low energy Aussie who just wants to find someone who will love him and a home that is peaceful and quiet to spend his remaining days.
