Bogey's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Bogey's Story...
Bogey has an adoption pending a hmck on 1/19. Please note, we prefer an adult hm or one with older children. No toddlers or under 8 year olds. Bogey was a stray at the LA Downey Shelter and we felt he was just too cute not to rescue. He is 4 years old, great with other dogs but too curious with cats. He is crate trained and housetrained but may mark initially in a new residence. He weighs 11 lbs, has a full, fluffy coat although he is clipped short for the recent summer season. He walks nicely on a leash and i s great with other dogs. Adoption process: completion of a pre adopt ap, hmck, contract and donation of $225. Placement limited to CA, NV and AZ if adopter comes to the southbay of LA County. There is a 2 week trial period if adopted in southern CA.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bogey, a Lomita Corgi/Papillon dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Corgi/Papillon for sale in Lomita, or seeking a Corgi/Papillon dog from a breeder in Lomita.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lomita already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lomita breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Corgi/Papillon breeders who help with Corgi/Papillon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lomita paves the way for another one to be saved.
