Buckley – is an extremely beautiful blond boy under 2 years old and weighs approximately 65 lbs. He is a young boy who came from a high kill shelter where he found himself after being picked up as a stray and surprisingly no one came looking for him. Buckley gets along great with all his foster siblings and loves running and playing around the yard and likes it especially when his foster mom takes him and his foster sisters for long walks in the woods. He loves everyone and is quite the snuggler. That beautiful sweet face says it all and could warm any heart. Buckley’s foster mom thinks he is a wonderful boy and can envision him romping and playing ball with children. He comes running when she calls and leans into to her for hugs and back scratches. Buckley is house trained and has great house manners and he would be considered a medium energy boy. He likes being with his people and would be a great candidate for a hiking, running or swimming partner or just a great companion and buddy for any family. Not sure how Buckley is with the kitties, but with his personality, we would be surprised if he were anything but good.
Buckley is neutered, up to date on vaccinations including rabies, and micro-chipped. Buckley came to us heartworm positive, but has completed his treatment and is heartworm free now. He is also on flea/tick preventative. Buckley is house trained and crate trained. He is a truly awesome boy and if you think he might fit into your easygoing, but active lifestyle, please indicate Buckley in the notes section of the online application.
