Ansel's Story...
Ansel is a scared little boy that had a tough beginning. He was living outside in an apartment complex, fending for himself. He hasn’t had much contact with humans, and I am sure what little he did have, it wasn’t that good. Thankfully a volunteer saw how this little guy was living and trapped him and brought him to Good Mews. Ansel is going to need a home with people who are willing to give him the time he needs to adjust and learn to trust. His adopter is going to have to take baby steps with him, but in time I think he will learn to trust and love life. He just needs a chance. He has already made a lot of progress since coming to the shelter. Ansel does love other kitties, so he must be adopted into a home where he will have another feline companion.

Good Mews offers an alternative to traditional animal shelters in the Metro Atlanta area by providing a no-kill, cage-free haven for homeless, abused, or abandoned cats until placing them in permanent, loving homes. Good Mews promotes public awareness regarding the value of pets, animal welfare, pet overpopulation, and quality human-animal companionship through education and outreach programs.
