Blackie's Story...
Blackie is a beautiful black and tan Chihuahua mix. She was born in June 2010 and weighs 12lbs. She is house trained and uses a doggy door. She loves to go on walks and run in open areas. She’s also good in the car. Blackie is an intelligent girl who never wanders away from home and comes when you call her. She understands "no speak", "do you want a treat?" (She Loves baby carrots), "let's go home", "do you want to go outside?". She is a cuddler, but also can be independent. Blackie likes her kennel and will often sleep there in the afternoon with the door open. She is a true companion. Blackie is spayed and has had all her shots.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Blackie, a Scottsdale Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Scottsdale, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Scottsdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Scottsdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Scottsdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Scottsdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
