Reuben ($325 reduced)'s Story...
Reuben is a 6 month old black lab/boxer mix. He has very pretty markings. He is kind of a brindle since he has red flecks mixed with his black. He is very playful and energetic, but yet loves other dogs and attention from people. He has met cats and appears to not be interested in them at this time. His adoption fee has been reduced so that he can find his forever home. (TIA)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Reuben ($325 reduced), a Harrisonburg Labrador Retriever/Boxer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Boxer for sale in Harrisonburg, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Boxer puppy from a breeder in Harrisonburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Harrisonburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Harrisonburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Boxer breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Harrisonburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
