Jackson's Story...
Jackson was found running the streets of Phoenix. We stopped our car, called out
to him and he joyfully came running up to us and jumped in the car. We posted
signs all over and about a week later, we received a call from his owner who
told us his name is Jackson. He was to pick him up the next morning and never
showed up. After several attempts to reach the owner, we realized Jackson would
be fostered by us. Jackson has been living with 2 boxers and a shih-tzu and is
very playful and sweet. He smiles constantly. He is very outgoing and great with people.
He's now crate trained and learning to walk on a leash. Jackson needs patience and training but
he's very smart, likes to please, enjoys the company of other dogs, likes to
play and very cuddly. He's not been observed around cats and kids. Jackson is
neutered and current on vaccinations.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jackson, a Scottsdale Belgian Shepherd/Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Belgian Shepherd/Golden Retriever for sale in Scottsdale, or seeking a Belgian Shepherd/Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Scottsdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Scottsdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Scottsdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Belgian Shepherd/Golden Retriever breeders who help with Belgian Shepherd/Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Scottsdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
