Shamrock's Story...
These leprechauns were headed to the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, when all the sudden they took a terrible detour to the Baldwin Park Shelter. In tow with their mommy Ireland, these Irish pups were in desperate need of a jail break. Thankfully one of our foster spots opened up and we upgraded their accommodations the minute they became available. These Lhasa Apso mixed pups are simply adorable with wonderful personalities. They will be ready to go to their forever homes March 2, 2012, just in time for St. Paddy's day. We are now taking applications on this litter.

If interested in a puppy from this litter, please see our website at www.lovebugsrescue.org for an adoption application. Puppy adoption fee is $300, which includes spay/neuter, registered microchip, deworming, first set of vaccines and lots of love and socialization from one of our foster homes.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shamrock, a Irvine Lhasa Apso/Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lhasa Apso/Dachshund for sale in Irvine, or seeking a Lhasa Apso/Dachshund puppy from a breeder in Irvine.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Irvine already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Irvine breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lhasa Apso/Dachshund breeders who help with Lhasa Apso/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Irvine paves the way for another one to be saved.
