Phelan is not in the Closer to Home Animal Advocates program. We are listing her as a courtesy to her owner and we will help screen applications to adopt.


Phelan is a 6-year-old spayed female Siberian Husky. She and her friend, Loki (he is listed under our rescue, as well), must find new homes soon. Phelan is a very sassy and funny dog. She is very independent but listens well. She LOVES new people and has a tendency to jump on visitors but will behave if corrected. Phelan will be fine in a home with older children. Toddler age kids make her a little nervous. Phelan is house trained and crate trained. She is NOT good with cats. A fenced yard is required but Phelan will be fine with a 4' high fence. An Invisible fence is not acceptable.
