Styles's Story...
Styles is an exceptional 8-month-old Pit Bull Terrier mix, surrendered by his owners last month, when it was discovered one of them was allergic. Their parting was especially sad, as this person suffered from epilepsy and Styles was apparently helpful in anticipating seizures. Although shy when arriving at the shelter, he is now more playful and friendly. He is energetic, yet shows no aggression, and knows how to sit. Styles is simply a healthy, smart, and handsome boy. He has been neutered and is ready to make a “stylish” entrance into a new and loving home environment. Adoption fees are discounted 25% all week for our featured pet, when you mention this announcement. Come visit the Orange County Humane Society, 21632 Newland St., Huntington Beach. For more information, call (714) 536-8480 or visit To keep the animals warm and dry, we gratefully accept donations of fleece blankets and towels.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Styles, a La Habra American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in La Habra, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in La Habra.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in La Habra already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a La Habra breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in La Habra paves the way for another one to be saved.
