I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, not good with kids, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Salem has a very sad story, her life has been anything but good up until this point. She has been passed around by people who couldn't give her the time of day and teach her anything. She is now about 15 months old and weighs 60 lbs. She is currently in a home with other dogs and is learning how to be a normal dog. Salem seems to be ok with submissive dogs but may have issues with dominant ones. She is possessive of her toys so we would like to place her as an only dog or only a dog that is submissive. She does have play time with the submissive dog in the home but toys are picked up. She is still young and will be a wonderful companion to someone willing to show her the way. Salem is curently attending obedience training to help her build her confidence and become the best she can be. We are finding out that Salem may need to be an only pet, no cats or other dogs, and there should be no children younger than 15. Salem needs a dog savvy person. A foster home is becoming urgent since she has to be separated from some of the dogs at her current temporary home. Salem is housetrained, crate trained and is a very playful girl. Erie Shores does not have a shelter and must rely on foster homes or kennels for the animals that are saved. PLEASE consider and inquire about fostering. There are never enough foster homes.

As we do not have a formal shelter we are always happy to arrange a meeting with any adoptable animal you may be interested in by contacting our email address.
All potential adopters are screened before adoption can be completed.
Adopter must allow ESHS to conduct follow-ups on pets well being.

Dogs and Cats are Spayed or Neutered and shots are up to date. Cats are tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV.
