My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Princess is a beautiful 1 1/2 year old female Yellow Labrador Retriever. She is a large female with large blocky head and otter-like tail. She has a small black "beauty mark" on the top of her head, otherwise we believe she is purebred. Her dewclaws are removed too. She is a typical lab who loves people, loves all other dogs, smiles all the time and loves attention. She does not jump or bark needlessly. She is very mellow and patient with all ages of children. She loves her belly rubbed while standing and especially while she is rolled over on her back. She is not the spaz that a young lab is typically - very mellow and sweet. She needs practice on the leash but she loves to please and should not be a problem. She loves to sit for treats, and knows shake and speak. She is crate trained and knows "night-night". She sleeps in her crate at night and for naps but is outside when the weather is nice. She loves the snow and is a clown with the kids outside. She is house broken and wants to be a lap dog, even as big as she is. She would make a great addition to any family.

When she was rescued from the shelter, she had a really bad ear infection, her foster home has been great on cleaning them every other day, and they are looking much better. She has chronic ear infections in her right ear, which can make her ears inflamed if not taken care of weekly. Other then making sure her ears are kept clean, she is a totally healthy beautiful girl.
