Zoey's Info...

I am already spayed and up to date with shots.

Zoey's Story...
Zoey is red female with long legs and floppy ears. She can be a very loving dog, but she needs to get to know you first. She is very shy with strangers. Zoey has a liver problem, but it is very easily managed with a special diet and one pill each morning an hour before breakfast. Zoey is 18 months old and loves to play with the other dogs. She is a mix of dachshund and smooth coated fox terrier so she has plenty of energy. All of the dogs coming through this rescue are spayed/neutered, have all shots up to date, and have a microchip implanted. The dogs also come with a collar with ID information. We run this rescue out of our home and welcome families to come out and visit with the dogs This rescue requires a pre & post placement home visits, a signed contract, and an adoption fee of $250.00

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zoey, a Vale Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Vale, or seeking a Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Vale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vale paves the way for another one to be saved.
