Madison's Story...
Madison is a beautiful 4 year old who was rescued as a baby, and has lived with a family for years now. The new children in the household are highly allergic to her, and they need to give her up. She is a BEAUTIFUL, wonderful laid back girl, who loves everyone and everything! She has very good manners. The family is very upset, and we are trying to find her a home quickly before she has to live her life out in a cage.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Madison, a Staten Island Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Staten Island, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Staten Island.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Staten Island already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Staten Island breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Staten Island paves the way for another one to be saved.
