My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I am a female Beagle/Rat Terrier mix. I am about 3 years old. I am spayed, current on shots, micro-chipped and on heartworm/flea preventative. My adoption is $150. I weigh 26 lbs.

I was pregnant when I came into rescue and all my puppies have found homes. I hope I get a new home very soon. I deserve it. I am a great girl!

Unfortunately, I was heartworm positive but I have been treated for heartworms and have gone through the recovery period. I need to just stay on heartworm prevention and be retested 6 months from the treatment date.

Please email for an application. A New Beginning Pet Care & Rescue, Inc. only accepts cash. We do not have the ability to accept credit or debit cards and no longer accept checks. The pets are available to be seen at our adoption events on weekends at the Petsmart in Altamonte Springs on Saturday from 11-5 and Sunday from 12-5.
