Cole's Story...
Hi, my name is Cole and my brother Dylan and I came all the way from Shelbyville, KY where we were serving time at the shelter. Our previous owner, a hunter, did not feel like wasting money feeding us until next rabbit season, so he surrendered us to the pound.

But soon our journey got much more interesting. Mostly Beagles saw our picture and began making arrangments to transport us to Olive Branch, MS. Thank you Sunny for picking us up from the shelter and allowing us to howl at your Aussies! And thank you Lynn for buying us a new crate and taking us to the airport! We could not have made a it to MBR without you.

Now I am in a foster home living with lots of other beagles waiting to find a home of my own. I am 7 months old and about 12 pounds. I like to play with other dogs, sniff around in the yard, go for car rides, lie in your lap, get kisses, and I LOVE to eat!

I am being trained and fostered at Good Dog University. I am crate trained and I have already learned to not jump on people & walk on leash. I am also learning to heel on leash, wait at doors, get into my kennel, and sit on command. I am available only for local adoption because my new adopters will be required to attend obedience training classes in Memphis, TN or Olive Branch, MS to reinforce what I already know and to teach me more.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cole, a Olive Branch Beagle puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Olive Branch, or seeking a Beagle puppy from a breeder in Olive Branch.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Olive Branch already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Olive Branch breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Olive Branch paves the way for another one to be saved.
