What happens when you feel the weight of the world on your shoulders? You adopt an Atlas of course!

Atlas is a young dog with some growing to do. At 11-months-old he weighs around 75 pounds of pure love, and puppy energy of course! Atlas was loving given to UMGDR after life circumstances changed and he was being left alone for too many hours each week.

Atlas has lived with all sorts of other animals and did fine with them including other dogs, cats and birds! He does pretty darned well on a leash for a puppy if I do say so myself! He will pull on a flat collar but with some training he will be perfect in no time!

Atlas is still a puppy so has lots of puppy behaviors including chewing so if you're thinking of adding this sweet boy to your home, you'll need to ensure it's puppy dane proof! Puppies require lots of love and patience... they are cute for a reason! If you think you have the time, love, patience and devotion for Atlas to see him through his senior years, then he would love to find his furever home with you!

  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Inver Grove Heights breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane breeders who help with Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Inver Grove Heights paves the way for another one to be saved.
