Lacey's Story...
My name is Lacey, I am an affectionate and gentle girl with plenty of puppy love to offer. I would really like to find a loving family to take me in and show me all the great things life has to offer. I have had a hard start- being homeless and all , not to mention I was found with a broken hip -which is all fixed up now. So I am more than ready to get plenty of pampering to make up for lost time. I have a little training to start, I know how to sit and I quickly learning to be crate trained, I do well with other dogs, cats and children. If you would enjoy a sweetheart to follow at your side, I think I am the girl of your dreams. 11 months old-40 lbs. My adoption fee is $160 and includes; current shots, spay, microchip, 1 month pet health insurance, free vet exam (SE Portland/Milwaukie area), 5 week training class, leash/collar, toy and treat packet, food sample. .

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lacey, a Portland Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Portland, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
