George's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, in need of an experienced adopter, and up to date with shots.

George's Story...
George is a neutered male Cattledog mix, approx. 3 years old. he is a handsome, personable boy who is as loyal a dog as you'll ever find. he also likes to bring your slippers to you in the morning. in addition, he enjoys having a job to do--such as "taking care of chickens, etc. lol. he was in a foster home with chickens and ducks. however, he is not fond of cats. go figure. George is protective of his family and would do best in a home where there isn't a lot of activity. being ab herding dog, he likes to herd. we would like to see him be adopted by someone who has had a herding dog before.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

George, a Loudonville Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Loudonville, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Loudonville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Loudonville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Loudonville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Loudonville paves the way for another one to be saved.
